CASA is the national voice for Canadian senior educational leaders. The organization is a federation of the professional associations representing the senior administrators in Canadian provinces and territories. Associate members include professors of educational administration, graduate students in educational administration, and individual administrators.

Distinguished Service Award

Is intended to recognize any present or recent CASA member who has demonstrated outstanding ability and leadership. The executive will consider the suitability of candidates based on the responses to the items contained in the Nomination Form.  Nominations will be received between October 1st and June 30th for awards to be presented at the Annual Conference in July each year.

Honorary Life Membership

Honorary Life Membership, in recognition of excellence in education at the national level, is normally meant to honor individuals who have contributed significantly to CASA. Significant contributions at the provincial affiliate level will be considered only in light of their relevance to CASA and its national mandate. The Executive Committee will consider the suitability of candidates based on responses to the items contained in the Nomination Form. 

Nominations will be accepted for consideration between October 1st and June 30th for awards to be presented at the Annual Conference in July each year.

Xerox - EXL Award

CASA members who have exhibited exemplary leadership ability and who have enhanced school administration are eligible to receive this award which includes an honorary life membership in CASA. Nominees are expected to have brought honor to themselves, their colleagues, and their profession; given exemplary service to their provincial or national professional association; made significant contributions to the field of education through their service, writings or other activities; and who therefore serves as a role model and teacher to others and have 5 years of membership in CASA.
